The ICIMCS 2013 is a forum for researchers from the academia and the industry, professionals,standard developers to exchange information on the state-of-art of internet multimedia information processing technologies and applications, as well as to identify the emerging research topics and define the future of multimedia information computing from internet.

ICIMCS was successfully held four times in the past four years. The 1st International Conference on Internet Multimedia Computing and Service (ICIMCS 2009) was held on November 23-25, 2009 in Kunming. The 2nd International Conference on Internet Multimedia Computing and Service was held on December 30-31, 2010 in Harbin. The 3rd International Conference on Internet Multimedia Computing and Service was held on August 5-7, 2010 in Chengdu. The 4th International Conference on Internet Multimedia Computing and Service was held on September 9-11, 2012 in Wuhan
